OGUN STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING RELEASES POST-UTME RESULTS, CAUTIONS AGAINST FRAUDULENT ADMISSION ACTIVITIES

Abeokuta, Ogun State , 8/8/25

Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences has officially released the results of its 2025 Post-UTME examination, marking the conclusion of a rigorous two-day exercise held on Tuesday and Wednesday. The examination, which tested candidates' academic abilities and preparedness for the nursing program, is part of the institution’s commitment to maintaining high educational standards.

The Post-UTME score contributes 50 marks to the total of 100, with the remaining 50 marks coming from candidates’ UTME results. This holistic approach is designed to assess both the candidates' foundational knowledge and their readiness for the demands of the nursing profession.

While the official cut-off mark for admission has yet to be announced, the school has advised the public to avoid soliciting admission through unauthorized channels. In a statement from the management, the College emphasized:

"We strongly caution candidates and the general public against engaging with unauthorized personnel who promise admission or offer to influence the process. Our protocols are strict, and we follow a transparent and merit-based system to ensure that only the most deserving candidates are admitted into our programs."

With over 3,000 candidates vying for admission this year, the College is set to receive its second cohort under the new collegiate system. This system, which has been hailed for its structured approach to nursing education, is expected to further enhance the academic experience for students while ensuring that they are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the healthcare sector.

The management also reaffirmed that the College will continue to uphold its reputation for producing skilled, disciplined, and compassionate nurses. Candidates who have participated in the examination are urged to check their results via the official College portal and stay tuned for future updates regarding the cut-off mark and the next steps in the admission process.

For further inquiries, candidates are encouraged to contact the College's admission office or visit the official website.
